Position: Welding & Metallurgy Expert Role

This specialist role demands strong expertise in welding techniques and metallurgy. You'll create and maintain welding procedures while enhancing efficiency through best practices. Conducting welder training and providing ongoing technical support will be crucial to your success. Form strong collaborations with teams and clients as you drive innovation in welding technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee welding procedure matrices for compliance

• Identify opportunities for improvement in welding practices

• Train and qualify welders in-house and in the field

• Provide technical support for repairs at sites

• Conduct material selection and defect analysis
Requirements:

• Journeyman Welder designation or relevant education

• Required Alberta B Pressure Certification

• Hold CWB Level 1 or 2 certification

• Solid understanding of welding codes and metallurgy

• Successfully clear pre-employment drug screening
