Entry-Level AV Installation Technician

Join AVI-SPL as an Installation Technician 1, performing installations of audio-visual systems including cables and components. Ensure project quality and compliance alongside the Lead Technician.

In this entry-level position, you will support various AVI-SPL contracted projects by carrying out installation jobs, from cable terminations to equipment setups. You’ll read and interpret blueprints while using power tools and soldering connectors. Flexibility for travel to different job sites is key.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform installations under the Lead Technician's guidance

• Read and understand electronic schematics

• Utilize hand tools for audio-visual tasks

• Aid in managing jobsite equipment properly

• Assist in rack wiring and basic mechanical tasks

Requirements:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

• Understanding of AV systems and troubleshooting

• Experience with low-voltage cabling installation

• Valid Driver’s License meeting AVI-SPL criteria

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
