Position: Convergint Student Technician - Security & HVAC
Embark on your technical career as a Student Technician with Convergint in Calgary, AB. In this summer role, you'll engage in the installation and troubleshooting of essential security and HVAC systems.

We invite students from Grade 11 through university to apply for this immersive role. This position emphasizes hands-on training with senior technicians across key areas like building automation and security systems. You'll learn the ins and outs of job site procedures and technical documentation while reinforcing a commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the start-up and testing of security systems

• Support installation and basic programming of BAS components

• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics

• Aid in project support and customer documentation

• Follow company regulations and safety policies

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in high school or post-secondary education

• Interest in technical fields like electronics or HVAC

• Must legally work in Canada

• Preferred:
Valid G2 driver's license
