As an experienced Mechanic, you will be responsible for servicing and repairing SOUTHLAND school buses, ensuring all tasks are performed efficiently and safely. Your work will include both shop maintenance and field service, dealing with breakdowns, equipment inspections, and documentation in a modern facility equipped with state-of-the-art technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct ongoing maintenance and repairs on school buses

• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment problems effectively

• Perform CVIP inspections to ensure safety standards

• Respond promptly to breakdowns both in yard and on the road

• Maintain thorough documentation of repairs and maintenance

Requirements:

• Automotive or Heavy Duty Journeyperson Ticket

• 2–5 years of relevant mechanic experience

• Must own required tools for the job

• Fluent in written and spoken English

• Valid driver’s license required
