Job Title: Security Technician (Non-Licensed)

Location: Calgary, AB

Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Our client is seeking a Security Technician (Non-Licensed) to join their team.

As a Security Technician (Non-Licensed), you will be part of the technical support and installation department supporting security and fire system projects.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

• Assist with cable runs and system installations at client sites.
• Support experienced personnel in troubleshooting security and fire systems, providing solutions to system problems.
• Help perform commissioning documentation and ensure accurate as-built records.
• Adhere to safety standards and local/national codes to maintain a secure work environment.
• Communicate effectively with customers before, during, and after installation to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction.

• Reliable transportation to and from work sites.
• Willingness to learn and develop technical proficiency through self-study and on-the-job training.
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and policies consistently.
• Basic understanding of electrical technology and security/fire systems is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
