Field Technician Power Generation

Position: Field Technician for Power Generation
Join Wajax as a Power Generation Field Technician responsible for on-site equipment servicing and repairs. Bring technical expertise in heavy equipment and mechanics to our diverse team.

In this vital role, you will have 2-3 years of experience, performing diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on both gasoline and diesel engines. Your key responsibilities will include inspecting equipment, communicating with customers for authorization, and ensuring quality service in compliance with health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and inspect components and equipment needs

• Communicate with owners for service authorization

• Service and repair equipment on-site and in-shop

• Recondition hydraulic and engine components as needed

• Maintain accurate service records and complete work orders

Requirements:

• Trade certification or Red Seal Journeyman status required

• 2-3 years of relevant work experience

• Proven mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

• CVIP License and Class 3 Driver's license a plus

• Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
