Calgary Electrician Apprentice Position

ATCO is seeking an Electrician Apprentice in Calgary for wiring modular units. This full-time union role provides hands-on training and opportunities to work alongside skilled tradespeople.

As a 3rd or 4th-year Apprentice Electrician, you will assist in various tasks, from wiring installations to troubleshooting electrical systems. This is your chance to gain valuable experience while working safely in a diverse, inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the wiring of modular units from rough-in to finish

• Install wiring, panels, and fixtures as needed

• Interpret blueprints and electrical code specifications

• Troubleshoot and test wiring units and fixtures

• Inspect tools and perform quality inspections

Requirements:

• Active registration as an Apprentice Electrician, 3rd or 4th year

• Prior experience with modular units is a plus

• Ability to read and interpret various technical documents

• Skilled in using hand and power tools

• Capable of working safely within a team environment
