Position: Senior Electrician Role with Rising Edge Group
Join Rising Edge Group as a Senior Electrician specializing in high-voltage systems. This pivotal position involves overseeing large-scale electrical projects while mentoring apprentices to ensure compliance and safety.

Reporting directly to the Site Supervisor, you will focus on installing, maintaining, and inspecting high-voltage systems in substations. Your leadership will be crucial in guiding Electrician Apprentices through technical challenges and compliance requirements. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead maintenance and installation of up to 500kV substations

• Train and guide Electrician Apprentices in daily tasks

• Read blueprints and ensure adherence to safety codes

• Operate essential site construction equipment

• Prepare maintenance reports and ensure quality control

Requirements:

• Journeyperson Electrician Certificate is mandatory

• At least 5 years’ relevant experience, including substation work

• Familiarity with Alberta Electrical Utility Code essential

• Must hold a valid Class 5 Alberta driver’s license

• Must pass Drug & Alcohol testing and work at heights
