Become a Maintenance Aide at Age Care in Chestermere, where you can positively impact our residents' lives. This role involves a variety of semi-skilled maintenance tasks in electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
In this capacity, you'll ensure the long-term care residence remains safe and functional by addressing maintenance issues promptly. This role allows you to use your technical skills while working closely with a team dedicated to enhancing seniors' well-being. You may also assist in construction projects and support minor carpentry efforts as part of your duties.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and repair building equipment and appliances
• Conduct inspections on lighting and electrical systems
• Regulate and repair plumbing fixtures and drains
• Test and troubleshoot electrical circuits as required
• Support minor carpentry and construction tasks
Requirements:
• 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred
• Knowledge of WHMIS necessary
• Grade 12 Diploma with technical training
• Team player passionate about senior care
• Ability to respond promptly to maintenance inquiries
