Site Foreman​/Site Foreperson

We are looking for an experienced Site Foreman/Site Foreperson to join our workforce housing projects team in Calgary. This is a full‑time temporary assignment for 11‑12 months.

• Supervise different trades in the field and be able to manage the site on their own when required under the supervision of the Construction Manager.
• Ensure trades are installed as per drawing and industry best practice.
• Monitor and manage HSE requirements onsite.
• Place material orders and pick them up when needed.
• Complete modular units’ inspections as they come off the manufacturing line.
• Assist with daily reporting as needed.
• Complete site walks daily throughout the building complex to evaluate contractors’ work.
• Participate in daily toolbox and weekly safety meetings.

• 1+ years foreman/foreperson experience.
• 5+ years in the construction industry (commercial/industrial setting) with interior finishing residential experience and some modular construction/installation preferred.
• Journeyman or Apprentice Carpenter preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction safety practices with hands‑on experience enforcing safety protocols, conducting site inspections, leading safety meetings, and ensuring compliance with all OH&S regulations.
• Proficient in blueprint reading; effective communicator both verbal and written.
• Good understanding of various trades such as concrete foundation, plumbing, electrical, roofing, building envelope, finish carpentry, etc., safety certifications preferred.
