Key Responsibilities:

• Service and maintain school buses effectively

• Diagnose equipment malfunctions and perform repairs

• Conduct CVIP inspections for compliance

• React promptly to bus breakdowns in the field

• Maintain precise records of repairs and services

Requirements:

• Must hold a Journeyperson Ticket (Automotive or Heavy Duty)

• Tools must be provided by the mechanic

• 2 – 5 years experience in the field

• Valid driver’s license required; CVIP license preferred

• Capability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in confined spaces
