Apprenticeship Instructor - Refrigeration Mechanics

This role is set to commence on August 4, 2026, and run until June 30, 2027. You will leverage your five years of experience in refrigeration and hold both an Alberta Journeyperson Certificate and Red Seal. Your contributions will include developing teaching materials, providing guidance to apprentices, and participating in engaging departmental activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide engaging instruction throughout the apprenticeship

• Develop tailored learning materials and activities

• Give constructive feedback to support student achievement

• Participate in community and promotional events

• Collaborate with staff to enhance the learning environment

Requirements:

• Red Seal and Alberta Journeyperson Certificate in Refrigeration

• Minimum five years of practical experience

• Preferred dual certification in Gasfitter A/B or Electrician

• Strong organization and communication skills

• Familiarity with adult learning concepts is beneficial
