Chandos, an employee-owned company, seeks a committed Journeyperson Carpenter to excel in interprovincial work. You'll be engaged in diverse construction and maintenance activities, interpreting specifications accurately while ensuring safety and efficiency. This position is ideal for those knowledgeable in carpentry practices and who thrive in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lay foundations and execute all carpentry tasks
• Interpret blueprints and building codes
• Estimate and select materials for projects
• Prepare framing and handle concrete tasks
• Operate and maintain carpentry tools safely
Requirements:
• Journeyperson Carpenter Certificate (Red Seal preferred)
• Active trade experience with safety knowledge
• Proficient in blueprint reading and layout
• WHMIS 2015 certification required
• Strong communication and time-management abilities
