Journeyman Electrician at FireFly Power

As a Journeyman Electrician, you will work across Alberta on solutions for energy evolution, specifically high-voltage and substation systems. This position demands at least three years of industrial, commercial, or utility electrical work experience, ideally with a Red Seal certification. A strong grasp of the Canadian Electrical Code is essential along with the ability to conduct safe installations and repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and maintain electrical systems in substations

• Perform terminations and splicing of cables

• Interpret technical drawings accurately

• Conduct testing and commissioning of systems

• Follow Alberta safety regulations and procedures

Requirements:

• Valid Alberta Journeyman Electrician ticket or 4th Period Apprentice

• 3+ years in electrical work, especially high-voltage

• Strong safety commitment in work environments

• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean record

• Physically capable of outdoor work in varying conditions
