Position: Water and Sewer Top Man
Join Thompson Construction Group as a Water and Sewer Top Man in Calgary. This full-time position focuses on underground utility installation and teamwork on land development projects.

Thompson Construction Group is looking for a skilled top man to support its Infrastructure division. With a minimum of three years’ experience, you will monitor pipe installation, manage materials, and collaborate with your team to meet project timelines.

Your role includes participating in safety meetings and ensuring effective communication on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor elevation and grade of installed pipes

• Cut and bevel pipe as required for installation

• Rig materials for lowering into ditches

• Set up track lines and align service connections

• Report incidents and maintain safety protocols

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years as a top man in underground utilities

• Reliable transportation for commuting to site

• Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure

• Willingness to work extended hours as needed

• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License preferred
