The Aircraft Maintenance Technician is accountable for the overall condition of aircraft, making repairs and adjustments in line with Transport Canada guidelines. With a minimum of eight years in general aircraft assembly, you will interpret technical specifications and perform verification inspections when trained.
Your role plays a key part in achieving maintenance targets while collaborating with management and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect and maintain aircraft condition according to approved procedures
• Complete verification inspections as directed by the Production Manager
• Interpret blueprints and technical instructions effectively
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Disassemble and inspect aircraft; record discrepancies and repairs
Requirements:
• Minimum 8 years in mechanics-related aircraft assembly
• Graduated from accredited trade institution
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Experience with Twin Otter aircraft preferred
• Valid M1 or M2 license is an asset
