Refrigeration Mechanic Instructor at SAIT

As a part of the innovative SAIT team, you will deliver practical instruction in the Refrigeration Mechanic apprenticeship program. Ideal candidates will possess an Alberta Journeyperson Certificate, Red Seal in Refrigeration and at least five years of diverse trade experience.

Your role involves developing teaching materials, providing constructive feedback, and participating in departmental activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging instruction across all years of the program

• Develop materials, activities, and assessments for student success

• Offer constructive feedback and guidance to learners

• Participate in SAIT promotional events and Open Houses

• Collaborate with staff to foster a collegial teaching environment

Requirements:

• Alberta Journeyperson Certificate in Refrigeration

• Minimum five years trade experience

• Dual certification in Gasfitter A/B or Electrician (asset)

• Strong communication and organization skills

• Experience with adult learners is a plus
