Experienced Crane Operator

Join Flynn Canada Ltd as an experienced Crane Operator/Driver in Calgary, AB. You will operate a 28 tonne stinger, ensuring safety and efficiency in all loading and unloading tasks.

Flynn is seeking a skilled Crane Operator for its Calgary team to handle heavy lifting and material operations. This role requires a high-level attention to detail and strong communication with supervisory staff. You will play a vital part in adhering to rigorous safety protocols and operational procedures to ensure every lift is executed without damage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a 28 tonne stinger crane daily

• Load and unload materials efficiently and safely

• Perform pre-operational inspections and calculate crane capacities

• Complete Field Level Hazard Assessments prior to lifts

• Communicate with foreman and management regarding daily operations

Requirements:

• Journeyman Operator ticket preferred

• Class 1 driver’s license required

• Minimum of 2 years crane operation experience

• Safety-oriented mindset and problem-solving skills

• Good communication skills, both oral and written
