Heavy Duty Mechanic at NCSG

Join NCSG as a Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic, responsible for the maintenance of trucks and trailers. Utilize your expertise in hydraulics and diagnostics to ensure optimal equipment performance.

In this role, you will perform daily maintenance and service on property and vehicles. Your experience and knowledge of heavy trucks and trailers will be essential for diagnosing faults and maintaining safety standards. You will work primarily in the shop while also being involved in outdoor operations and inspections.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily maintenance on trucks, trailers, and vehicles

• Inspect equipment and vehicles for optimal condition

• Diagnose faults using computerized testing equipment

• Read and interpret hydraulic and electrical diagrams

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and NCSG policies

Requirements:

• Licensed Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician

• Minimum 2-3 years' experience with heavy trucks

• Valid Driver's License;
Class 1 an asset

• CSTS 2020, H2S, First Aid certifications

• Own tools required at start of work term
