Heavy Equipment Shop Supervisor

Elevate shop operations as a Heavy Equipment Shop Supervisor with KLS Earthworks in Calgary. Oversee daily shop activities, lead mechanics, and ensure fleet reliability and safety.

As a key leader at KLS Earthworks & Environmental, you will play an essential role in supervising a skilled team focused on the maintenance and repair of heavy equipment and trucks. Your leadership will drive efficiency while ensuring that work meets the high standards set by KLS. You'll also manage scheduling, operational priorities, and compliance with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor heavy equipment mechanics and apprentices

• Plan and assign daily tasks based on project schedules

• Monitor productivity and provide performance feedback

• Oversee preventative maintenance and repairs for the fleet

• Maintain a safe and organized shop environment

Requirements:

• Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician preferred

• Proven supervisory experience in construction or similar field

• Valid driver's license with a clean record

• Strong knowledge of heavy construction equipment and systems

• Excellent communication and organizational skills
