Position: Experienced Upholsterer with Craft Skills
Enhance furniture aesthetics as an Upholsterer, responsible for fabricating and installing upholstery in a dynamic and supportive environment. Join a team that offers training and mentorship for both newcomers and Indigenous workers.

This permanent position is open for those with 1-2 years of experience in upholstery. You will replace worn-out furniture components, lay out, cut, and install upholstered sections, as well as tack or sew ornamental trims.

Your role directly impacts the quality and appearance of various furniture pieces while working in a friendly and inclusive atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Replace worn webbing, springs, and furniture parts

• Fabricate and install upholstery materials

• Sew or glue trim, braids, and buttons

• Repair furniture frames and refinish surfaces

• Operate sewing machines or hand-sew upholstery

Requirements:

• High school graduation certificate required

• 1 to 2 years of relevant upholstery experience

• Ability to work evening, weekend, and overtime shifts

• Commitment to fostering diversity in the workplace

• Proficiency in English for communication
