As a Powerline Technician – Service, you’ll be responsible for constructing, inspecting, and maintaining both overhead and underground power lines as well as substations. This role demands adherence to safety protocols and involves hands-on live line work, troubleshooting, and emergency response. You will also mentor apprentices, ensuring a skilled workforce for the future.

Key Responsibilities:

• Construct and maintain power lines and substations

• Perform live line work and system switching

• Conduct inspections and troubleshoot faults

• Respond to outages and customer issues

• Maintain accurate field documentation

Requirements:

• Journeyperson Powerline Technician Certificate

• Valid Class 5 vehicle operator’s license

• Ability to obtain Class 1 or 3 license

• First Aid Certificate

• Safe work record and driver’s abstract
