Evening Audio-Visual Installer at SAIT

Join SAIT's IT Services as an Audio-Visual Installer focused on after-hours deployment and operational support for AV systems across campus. Ensure exceptional audio-visual experiences in classrooms and other areas.

This position requires working closely under the supervision of the Audio-Visual Supervisor. You'll provide installation services that encompass mounting, troubleshooting, and testing AV systems, primarily in classrooms. Strong collaboration and hands-on skills are essential to achieving optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mount and unmount AV hardware and equipment

• Stage, install, and perform operational testing of AV systems

• Conduct regular maintenance and cleaning of AV components

• Relocate equipment across campus as needed

• Maintain inventory data for AV-related items

Requirements:

• Diploma in relevant technical fields preferred

• 1-2 years of AV support experience

• Familiarity with low voltage wiring and installation techniques

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Valid driver’s license needed
