Skilled Formwork Carpenter

Position: Skilled Formwork Carpenter Needed
CANA is seeking a skilled Formwork Carpenter to enhance Calgary’s skyline. Focus on safety and efficiency while constructing and installing concrete forms on notable projects.

In this role, you will carry out a variety of tasks essential to formwork construction, ensuring adherence to CANA's high safety standards. You will be engaged in erecting columns, suspended slabs, and installing safety barriers. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively are vital for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Construct and install concrete forms per project needs

• Read blueprints and prepare work layouts

• Erect scaffolding and install necessary safety measures

• Ensure work areas remain hazard-free

• Execute additional tasks on-site as required

Requirements:

• Must hold a Canadian Journeyman Carpentry Certificate

• Experience with slab and wall formwork systems preferred

• Valid Driver’s License needed

• Solid communication and teamwork abilities

• Good physical condition for demanding work
