Residential Service Plumber

ARPI’S INDUSTRIES, Calgary’s number one residential service, retrofit and new home installation company, is looking for service plumbers and boiler install/service technicians. We are an equal opportunities company seeking experienced service plumbers/technicians with the ability to work on all aspects of hydronic heating & boiler systems including installation & service. Having your cross‑connection certificate is not required, but it is an asset to fulfilling this position.

• Primarily residential plumbing service with light commercial service duties on occasion.
• Installations of residential boilers and tankless water heaters as required.
• Troubleshoot problems associated with boilers, furnaces, hot water tanks and similar devices.
• Communicate with homeowners to explain situations encountered in the service call and proper repair processes.
• Expedite these processes with efficiency and ability.
• Investigate leaks and make repairs as required.
• Repair/replacement of various plumbing fixtures and devices.
• Install and commission water softeners and water filtration systems.
• Responsible for collecting sales at the completion of each job. Resources and training to fulfill these responsibilities is provided.
• Be social media savvy and always represent the company in a good light.

• Mechanical aptitude
• Prior boiler, tankless, combi boiler install experience is considered an asset
• Ability to interpret & follow system schematics
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Journeyman – Red Seal or 2nd/3rd year apprentice
• Minimum 2 years experience
• Prior residential plumbing service experience
• Bondable
• Can be entrusted to do the work correctly and work independently
• Ability to deal with unforeseen issues and overcome obstacles

• 8‑hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• On call rotation

Job Type: Full‑time, Permanent

Salary: Negotiable based on skill set.
