Position: Calgary Field Service Technician for Xplore
Become a vital part of Xplore's team as a Field Service Technician in Calgary, AB, specializing in hands-on network installation and maintenance. Bring your technical knowledge in IP Networking and fixed wireless networks to support our Network Team.

This role involves day-to-day operations including installation, repair, and maintenance of Xplore’s fixed wireless network. You will be a dedicated self-starter able to work independently while supporting a larger team. Ideal candidates will have experience with tower rigging and a diploma in IT or equivalent practical experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle Enterprise customer installations and circuit maintenance

• Assign tasks and oversee a team of employees

• Determine issue escalation and manage outage scenarios

• Perform heavy lifting and tower climbing for installations

• Conduct on-call support and off-hours maintenance

Requirements:

• One-year diploma in IT or similar field

• Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills

• Experience with wired/wireless network equipment

• Telecom experience preferred

• Background check required for compliance
