Excavator Operator

Position: Excavator Operator at KLS Earthworks
Be a pivotal part of KLS Earthworks & Environmental’s team in Calgary as an Excavator Operator. This full-time role emphasizes safety, equipment operation, and teamwork within a supportive environment.

KLS Earthworks & Environmental is seeking an enthusiastic Excavator Operator with a proven safety record. In this role, you’ll operate heavy equipment like excavators, perform maintenance checks, and ensure excavation meets OH&S standards. Your experience in identifying utilities and assisting ground crews will contribute to operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate excavators and heavy equipment safely

• Perform daily safety checks and maintenance

• Interpret ground markings to ensure correct grading

• Maintain compliance with OH&S standards

• Assist ground crew when machinery is idle

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years’ excavator operating experience

• Ability to lift and carry 50lbs regularly

• Willingness to work out of town as needed

• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills

• Compliance with drug testing policies
