As a Flooring Installer, you will contribute to residential and commercial projects by measuring, cutting, and installing diverse floor coverings. The role requires at least one year of relevant experience and includes responsibilities like repairing damaged floors and conducting installation tests. Expect to work primarily on-site, ensuring high-quality service to all clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect and measure surfaces for flooring requirements
• Read blueprints to determine installation specifications
• Install hardwood, resilient flooring, and carpets
• Remove existing floor coverings and prepare surfaces
• Conduct moisture and temperature tests before installations
Requirements:
• 1-2 years of flooring installation experience
• Valid driver’s license and own transportation
• Ability to handle physically demanding tasks
• Organized with strong judgment skills
• Bondable and subject to background checks
