Position: Full-Time Housing Maintenance Worker Position
Join our team as a Housing Maintenance Worker, focusing on property inspections and repairs for low rental units. This full-time role involves varied skills in maintenance and tenant collaboration.

As a Housing Maintenance Worker, you will conduct thorough inspections and perform essential maintenance on heating, cooling, plumbing, and electrical systems. This role requires effective communication and organization while working alongside the Housing Manager to resolve tenant issues. Your responsibility also includes preparing regular reports and performing minor repairs as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct annual inspections for roofs and homes

• Develop preventative maintenance schedules and procedures

• Perform adjustments on heating, cooling, and plumbing systems

• Accompany tenants during property inspections

• Provide written reports on maintenance activities

Requirements:

• Experience in home renovation or maintenance

• Completion of post-secondary or trade school preferred

• Knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work

• Strong physical ability to perform manual labour

• Valid Ontario Driver's License and personal vehicle necessary
