Job Overview
We are looking for a full time Rigger Technician to join our team in Calgary, AB
. The Rigger Technician plays a key role in overseeing the organization, safety, and rigging operations. This includes coordinating incoming and outgoing shipments, leading the fabrication of rigging products, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring the workspace meets safety and quality standards. - Fabricate slings, wire rope, and rigging gear to meet customer specifications
- Conduct QA checks on outgoing orders and fabricated gear
- Ensure warehouse organization, cleanliness, and adherence to safety standards
- Track shipments and manage order paperwork and production records
- Participate in physical inventory counts and maintain accurate bin locations
- Collaborate with other departments to meet customer deadlines and product requirements
- Maintain rigging equipment and identify inventory needs
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous warehouse and/or rigging experience is an asset
- Leadership or supervisory experience in an industrial setting
- Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with rigging equipment
- Ability to safely lift 50 lbs. and work in varied environmental conditions
- Valid driver’s license and forklift operator certification preferred
- Basic math, organization, and computer skills for inventory systems
- Safety‑first mindset and strong attention to detail
