This role offers hands-on experience in construction and remodeling within a friendly, employee-owned company.
As an Apprentice Carpenter at Chandos, you will be responsible for constructing and maintaining buildings. Your knowledge of building trades and safety practices will be essential as you work on various carpentry tasks. The role emphasizes quality and accountability, reflecting our commitment to a shared purpose among every employee.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lay and repair building foundations
• Perform prefabrication of concrete forms
• Handle cement work and transitions
• Assemble frameworks using wood and fasteners
• Engage in renovation and structural tasks
Requirements:
• Active participation in an Apprenticeship Program
• Two years or more carpentry experience
• Proficient with hand and power tools
• Strong analytical skills for estimates
• Completion of CSTS training needed
