CFAA Certified Fire Alarm Technician

Convergint in Calgary, AB seeks a highly skilled Fire Alarm Technician. Focus on servicing fire alarm systems while ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

This role involves troubleshooting, testing, and repairing moderately complex fire alarm technology. You will serve as a mentor for junior technicians, ensuring project timelines are met. Your technical knowledge will be key in managing emergency service calls and maintaining safety standards, making you a key player in our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair various fire alarm systems

• Act as a mentor for junior staff during inspections

• Communicate needs and project updates effectively

• Engage in wiring checkout and commissioning tasks

• Complete accurate service reports for customers

Requirements:

• CFAA Fire Alarm Technician certification is essential

• 3-5 years of applicable commercial experience

• Degree in electronic technologies is preferred

• Experience with Edwards products is a plus

• Additional certifications EST3/3X or EST4 are beneficial
