Industrial Shop Helper Position

Join an industrial shop in Calgary as a full-time Shop Helper, where you’ll clean parts and assist experienced Millwrights. Experience a 4-day work week with Fridays off!

This permanent shop helper role focuses on following directions and performing general cleaning duties in a physically demanding environment. Candidates who are mechanically inclined will thrive and have the potential for a Millwright apprenticeship. It is crucial to be reliable and able to transport yourself to the job site daily.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with cleaning slurry pump components

• Provide support to Journeyman Millwrights

• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the shop

• Help with general shop tasks as required

• Work effectively in a physically demanding setting

Requirements:

• Mechanical skills and a strong work ethic

• Must possess a valid driver’s license

• Reliable transportation to the work location

• Ability to handle heavy parts safely

• Ready for a Monday to Thursday work schedule
