Wireless Telecom Network Technician

Elevate your career as a Wireless Telecom Network Technician with Ericsson in Calgary, Alberta. This role focuses on LTE and 5G networks, ensuring seamless installation and maintenance.

As part of the Field Service Organization, you will be instrumental in the deployment and troubleshooting of both wireless RAN infrastructure and core network systems. With more than three years of industry experience, you will leverage your skills in RF testing, microwave backhaul, and fiber cross-connects to optimize network performance. This role requires flexibility, including an on-call schedule and an ability to navigate both field operations and data centers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and commission LTE and 5G RAN components

• Perform RF testing and troubleshooting for optimal performance

• Support microwave backhaul installation and maintenance

• Conduct fiber cross-connects and structured cabling

• Monitor alarms using OSS/NMS tools and provide incident response

Requirements:

• Diploma in Telecommunications or related field

• 3+ years experience in telecommunications industry

• Valid Canadian driver’s license and tower climbing certification

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

• Understanding of IP networking and end-to-end architecture
