Position: Experienced Formwork Carpenter Needed
CANA Construction seeks an Experienced Formwork Carpenter in Alberta to contribute to landmark projects. Bring your expertise in concrete formwork systems to a trusted construction firm.

As a Formwork Carpenter, you will engage in constructing and installing concrete forms while emphasizing safety and quality.

Your role will involve physically demanding tasks along with leadership in safety program adherence. A strong foundation in communication and problem-solving will support your success in this collaborative work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Construct concrete forms in accordance with job specifications

• Erect columns, slabs, and stair structures

• Operate and ensure safety of required tools

• Install safety measures like guardrails and temporary fencing

• Interpret blueprints and site instructions

Requirements:

• Canadian Journeyman Carpentry Certificate required

• Experience with wall/slab formwork, specifically Peri and Doka

• Transport means to job sites necessary

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Physically fit to handle demanding tasks year-round
