Position: Field Technician for Heavy Equipment

Step into the role of HET Field Technician with Wajax, where your mechanical skills will be essential for servicing and repairing heavy equipment on-site and in the shop. Bring your expertise in diagnosing gasoline and diesel engines.

This position requires a trade certification or Journeyman Red Seal, along with 2-3 years of experience in the field. You will be tasked with inspecting components, communicating with clients regarding repair needs, and maintaining detailed service records. Building strong customer relationships will be a key part of your daily activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose equipment for servicing needs effectively

• Authorize servicing and repairs with customers

• Maintain service records and warranty information

• Recondition components for engine and hydraulic repairs

• Ensure compliance with safety training and standards

Requirements:

• Trade certification or participation in a Provincial Apprenticeship

• 2-3 years relevant work experience

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Demonstrated mechanical and analytical skills
