Elevate your career as a Field Technician with Hitachi Energy Canada in Kelowna. This role encompasses installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of vital industrial systems on-site.
In this full-time position, you will gain practical experience working with a range of electromechanical systems. Your primary focus will be to ensure machinery operates safely and efficiently, while providing exemplary customer support. Work collaboratively with teams to establish best practices in system operation and compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install and configure hardware/software systems in the field
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment promptly
• Execute preventive maintenance tasks regularly
• Provide customer training for optimal system usage
• Log detailed records of service actions and inventory
Requirements:
• Valid authorization to work in Canada
• Engineering or technical degree preferred
• 2+ years’ experience in relevant roles
• Proficiency in diagnosing technical equipment issues
• Strong communication and customer service skills
