Carpenter Journeyperson

Position: Carpenter Journeyperson Wanted
Become a Carpenter Journeyperson with Jardeg for the 78th Ave Lightrail Transit Bridge project in Calgary, AB. Work on concrete formwork while mentoring apprentices in a local capacity.

This role, partnering with Technical Workforce Inc., is critical for the construction of notable infrastructure. You'll follow a schedule of 5 days on and 2 days off, with flexibility for evenings and weekends as required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and shape concrete forms for construction

• Join materials and ensure correct assembly

• Erect scaffolding and ladders for higher work

• Notify supervisors of any design or execution issues

• Mentor apprentices in their carpentry skills

Requirements:

• Preferred:
Carpenter Journeyperson Ticket from an authority

• Must show proof of carpentry work hours for non-ticketed applicants

• Concrete formwork and framing experience are assets

• Should work well independently and in teams

• Must have legal authorization to work in Canada
