Position: Industrial Relay Technician Role
Join Shermco Industries as an Industrial Relay Technician. This full-time role at the Albian site focuses on protective relay testing and electrical maintenance with a 7 on/7 off rotation.

As an experienced Relay Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting protective relay systems and associated equipment.

Your role will enhance reliability in industrial power systems while following stringent safety protocols. Expect travel coordination from Calgary or Edmonton to the Albian site under covered costs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct testing and maintenance of protective relays

• Help with commissioning and troubleshooting of power systems

• Handle low, medium, and high-voltage equipment

• Complete accurate reports and field test documentation

• Ensure compliance with safety standards during execution

Requirements:

• Experience in electrical, instrumentation, or control systems

• Strong troubleshooting skills with protective relays

• Technical certifications are a plus

• Familiarity with safety procedures and documentation

• Ability to work independently at client sites
