Journeyman Electrician

Become a Red Seal Journeyman Electrician at ATCO Frontec in Calgary or Edmonton. This role requires installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial and industrial facilities.

ATCO Frontec is looking for a Journeyman Electrician to join its Facilities Solutions team. This position involves working on projects across Alberta and Northern Communities. The ideal candidate will have a strong construction background and must be willing to work after hours and weekends as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections, testing, and accurate defect reporting

• Ensure all installations meet electrical codes and safety standards

• Install wiring, conduit, panels, transformers, and electrical equipment

• Assist with project planning and execution of new work

• Comply with maintenance and repair requirements of relevant codes

Requirements:

• Red Seal certification as a Journeyman Electrician

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in commercial/residential work

• Class 5 license and clean driver’s abstract

• Strong communication skills

• Ability to read drawings and schematics
