Heavy Equipment Technician Journeyperson

This position requires hands-on expertise in troubleshooting and diagnosing issues within civil construction equipment, including dozers and excavators. You'll collaborate closely with maintenance and operations teams while ensuring compliance with manufacturers’ specifications. Your work will directly impact the performance and safety of our equipment on site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform hands-on repairs on heavy construction machinery

• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical faults

• Maintain accurate and detailed service reports

• Test repaired equipment to ensure compliance

• Understand and interpret hydraulic and electronic schematics

Requirements:

• Provincial Journeyperson or Red Seal Certification in trade

• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License required

• Certifications in WHMIS and CSTS mandatory

• Reliable transportation to travel to various sites

• Fall Protection certification an added advantage
