Sign Installation Technician Apprentice

Become a skilled Sign Installation and Service Technician Apprentice with Onsite Sign in Calgary. This full-time role offers hands-on experience in sign installation, troubleshooting, and working with power tools.

Onsite Sign, a leader in Western Canada's sign manufacturing, is seeking an enthusiastic apprentice for its Calgary branch. As part of this full-time position, you will learn to read installation drawings, use power tools, and communicate effectively. This role involves material handling and working at heights, ensuring a solid foundation for a career in the sign industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and understand sign installation drawings

• Inspect freight for accuracy and quality

• Use manual and power tools effectively

• Load and secure materials for transport

• Assist with servicing and troubleshooting signs

Requirements:

• Valid 3 or 5 Driver's Licence with clean abstract

• Safety certifications in Fall Protection and Aerial Lift preferred

• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work at heights

• Reliable transportation and punctuality essential

• Flexibility for overtime and out of town work
