Relay Testing Specialist Albian Site

Be a Relay Testing Specialist with Shermco Industries at our Albian site. This full-time, 1-year term position encompasses testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of relay systems in a safety-sensitive environment.

As a Relay Technician, you will engage in critical maintenance of protective relay systems and high-voltage electrical equipment.

Your role supports significant power infrastructure, adhering to safety regulations while assisting clients on-site. Travel from Calgary or Edmonton will be arranged, with covered costs for eligible trips.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect, test, and maintain circuit systems and relays

• Support power system troubleshooting and calibration

• Work alongside site teams ensuring safety compliance

• Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance work

• Collaborate with client and Shermco teams for execution

Requirements:

• Relevant experience in electrical or protective control systems

• Familiarity with high-voltage equipment testing

• NETA or similar electronic certifications advantageous

• Strong knowledge of electrical safety and documentation

• Valid driver's license with passing safety checks
