We are looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Technician who is well-versed in the oil and gas industry. Your task will involve diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues, aimed at minimizing downtime for heavy construction equipment. This full-time position is essential to ensuring operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair various equipment including excavators and haul trucks

• Conduct preventative maintenance tasks and inspections

• Replace defective components to maintain machinery safety

• Keep maintenance logs and service records updated

• Travel to remote sites for emergency repair work

Requirements:

• Journeyman Heavy Duty Equipment Technician Certification

• 3-5 years’ experience with heavy machinery

• Strong skills in diesel engines and hydraulics

• Valid Class 5 license with clean driving history

• Safety certifications: H2S, First Aid, CSO
