Emergency Vehicle Technician Mechanic Position

Work with Acden Base Operators in Fort Mackay as an Emergency Vehicle Technician Mechanic. This fly in, fly out opportunity focuses on maintaining vital emergency vehicles and heavy machinery.

Candidates for this position will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing emergency vehicles, ARFF trucks, and heavy equipment. You must have a Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician certification and 3-5 years of relevant experience. A keen understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems along with the ability to document repairs effectively is vital for success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and maintain light vehicles and heavy trucks

• Diagnose and repair equipment essential for airport operations

• Conduct minor modifications as needed

• Interpret technical manuals and document service reports

• Address site preservation and environmental emergencies

Requirements:

• Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician or equivalent certification

• 3-5 years related experience

• Emergency Vehicle Technician Certification

• Class 1 or Class 3 with Q endorsement is a plus

• Willingness to travel and comply with safety regulations
