Traffic Control Technician

Aecon is looking for skilled Traffic Control Technicians for the upcoming construction season. You will be instrumental in setting up and maintaining safe lane closures, detours, and work zones throughout Calgary and Southern Alberta. Key responsibilities involve performing flagging activities, monitoring traffic flow, and completing daily inspections and reports to support crews effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and maintain lane closures and detours

• Operate flat deck trucks and TMA units

• Monitor compliance with safety regulations

• Perform physical setup of traffic control devices

• Support contractor safety and efficient traffic flow

Requirements:

• 1+ year of traffic control experience

• Valid Class 5 Non-GDL Driver's License

• Clean 3-Year Driver’s Abstract

• Ability to work outdoors in various conditions

• ACSA TCP Ticket is an asset
