Alstar Group is seeking a Journeyman or Apprentice Crane Operator for its Calgary shop. Candidates should possess strong skills in crane operation, safety protocols, and effective communication. This role requires individuals who can perform under pressure while ensuring the highest safety standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate cranes to lift and position heavy loads safely

• Conduct pre-use inspections of all lifting gear

• Perform complex tasks under varying outdoor conditions

• Report to the assigned foreman and follow directions

• Ensure efficient and safe operations in the manufacturing facility

Requirements:

• Valid Journeyman or Apprentice Ticket in crane operation

• Experience in the oil and gas industry

• CSO, WHMIS 2015, and Fall Protection certifications

• Current driver’s license with a clean 5-year abstract

• Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork
