Interpro Pipe & Steel is seeking an Automation Specialist to support their Calgary operations. This position requires expertise in PLC programming, industrial electrical systems, and collaborative troubleshooting. The role's objective is to optimize automation solutions, improve operational performance, and ensure safety compliance with the company’s standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Program and optimize PLC systems including Allen Bradley
• Develop reliable automation solutions with engineering teams
• Troubleshoot industrial electrical systems and automation components
• Configure and maintain HMI systems for operator functionality
• Provide on-call troubleshooting support during emergencies
Requirements:
• Diploma in Electrical or related Engineering Technology
• Minimum 3 years of automation experience in industrial settings
• Proficient in PLC programming and troubleshooting
• Experience with HMI systems and industrial networking
• Strong communication and documentation skills
