The RoleGrizzly Trek is seeking Journeyman Scaffolders to join our valued client's team on commercial and industrial projects in the Edmonton and Calgary areas. This is a full-time, permanent position offering steady hours, overtime, and room to advance.
Our client is busy and building crews in both cities, on local projects and out of town camp work. You will erect, modify, and dismantle scaffold to specification, work alongside an experienced team, and help bring apprentices up to standard.

Steady full-time work. Local Edmonton and Calgary area projects, plus out of town camp rotations.
Hours
: 40 to 70 hours per week, with overtime available
Compensation
: $42.00 per hour starting rate, plus overtime
Experience
:
Journeyman Scaffolder with commercial and industrial experience
Certification
:
Journeyman Scaffolder certificate. CSTS, Fall Protection, and WHMIS required.
Accommodations

Camp accommodation provided on out of town projects
- Erect, modify, and dismantle scaffold on commercial and industrial projects
- Read and interpret scaffold drawings, load specifications, and job requirements
- Inspect components before use and tag completed structures to site standards
- Rig, hoist, and move scaffold materials safely to and from elevated work areas
- Work at heights with fall protection in place at all times
- Guide and mentor apprentice scaffolders on the crew
- Take part in hazard assessments, toolbox talks, and site safety reporting
- Travel to out of town camp projects as project schedules require
- Journeyman Scaffolder certification
- Proven scaffolding experience on commercial and industrial sites
- Valid safety tickets, including CSTS, Fall Protection, and WHMIS
- Comfortable working at heights and lifting scaffold components repeatedly
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all conditions
- Reliable, hard working, and able to work well with a crew
- Available for local work in Edmonton or Calgary, plus out of town camp rotations
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Turnaround, shutdown, or plant maintenance experience
- Additional site tickets such as Confined Space, H2S Alive, or Aerial Work Platform
- Experience leading or mentoring apprentice crews
- Commercial and industrial sites across the Edmonton and Calgary areas, plus out of town camp projects
- Outdoor work at heights, year round, in all Alberta weather conditions
- Camp accommodation provided when working out of town
- Safe, team oriented culture with PPE and site safety standards enforced
- $42.00 per hour starting rate for certified Journeyman Scaffolders
- Overtime pay, with 40 to 70 hours per week available
- Full-time, permanent work with a busy company and room to advance
