Communication Technician

Plan Group seeks two skilled Communication Technicians to join their innovative projects in Calgary. You will handle the installation of cabling systems, network hardware, and security equipment. Ideal candidates should be proficient in troubleshooting cable issues and adhering to safety regulations pertinent to the job.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install structured cabling systems and network hardware

• Route, terminate, and test various cable types

• Troubleshoot and repair inside and outside plant cable issues

• Utilize hand tools and safety equipment effectively

• Manage material handling and ensure documentation accuracy

Requirements:

• Class 5 driver's license and valid police clearance

• Current MEWP, Fall Protection, and Confined Space certifications

• Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations

• Experience with cable assemblies and connectors

• Ability to work 40 hours weekly, Monday to Friday
